This January, we celebrate the beginning of a new lunar year, the Year of the Rabbit. The lunar new year is important to and is celebrated in many cultures around the world, and especially by many Pacific cultures and peoples. This family workshop encourages students to learn about the lunar new year and this year’s animal, the rabbit.
In this 1 hour workshop, families and students will learn a bit about the significance of the lunar new year, the rabbit, and how to draw a rabbit. Building fun and educational experiences in a creative environment, we encourage students to explore their creativity. By the end of this class students will learn to draw a rabbit using pencil, paper, and eraser,
At the end of the program students have the opportunity to submit their art to be put up in the NatureSketch Gallery.
